Every year Wallethub study’s the largest metros for obesity, wieght related health problems and healthy environments to rank the for fittest and fattest. Being known for our amazing dining and love for bourbon….Where did Lexington rank? Not great!

Lexington ranked as the 38th fattest city in the U.S.. That’s not good but could’ve been worse. Our nieghbors to the West, Louisville, ranked #27 fattest on the list and Memphis, TN came in at the top.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than a third of American adults and about 17 percent of young people were obese in 2012. We also spend over 315 billion annually on obesity health related issues!!
